In the wake of Kiran Kumar Reddy's resignation, Governor Narasimhan submitted a report to President Pranab Mukherjee stating there is no right person to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at present. He mentioned that political parties have been divided region-wise and there is political uncertainty in the state. He also felt none of the parties in AP have been in a position to prove the majority.
On a whole, Narasimhan recommended President's Rule in Andhra Pradesh in the current scenario.
