Mumbai wins, Sachin bids adieu to IPL!

Mumbai Indians have won their maiden IPL title tonight, beating Chennai Super Kings by a fair margin in the final held at Eden Garden in Kolkata on Sunday.

Chennai managed to get only 125 for nine in reply to Mumbai's 148 for nine. Kieron Pollard's unbeaten 60 of just 32-balls helped Mumbai win the match against tough opposition. Dhoni remained top scorer in Chennai team with an unbeaten 63. Though CSK were 55/8, it was Dhoni who made the cricket lovers glue to TV till the very end.

Cricket Icon Sachin Tendulkar who is enjoying every moment of being the champions has made up his mind to bid adieu to IPL. "Had to wait for 6 years but this win is special since it is my last IPL. This is my last season. I've got to be realistic here. The journey has been fantastic and this is the icing on the cake!," said Sachin, after the victory.

Mumbai Indians are the new champions of IPL and what a way to bid farewell to the cricket god Sachin Tendulkar who had every major achievement in his pocket. Great job Mumbai Indians and Master Blaster!
