Grapevine in the industry is that Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati will be playing the role of a father in period drama 'Bahubali' which is being directed by SS Rajamouli. While Rana gets into the shoes of a powerful King, actor Adivi Sesh ('Panjaa' fame) would be donning the role of his son (prince). Both these roles have negative shades and the well-built actors have been undergoing training in warfare techniques since few months.
Sources say, Rajamouli is planning to make the film in two parts. This big ticket film would be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil. Later, the Telugu version will be dubbed into Hindi to reach a wider audience.
Bahubali will go on floors in July this year and shoot will continue till the end of 2014. Rajamouli is very particular about each and every aspect during the pre-production stage itself as huge money is at stake. Nearly Rs 100 crore budget has been allotted to the project. The combo of Prabhas, Anushka and Rana will be offering a different cinematic experience for the film lovers this time.
