Suriya and Gautham Menon's combo is known to be a super hit guaranteed alliance after they delivered memorable films like 'Kaakha Kaakha' (Gharshana in Telugu) and 'Surya S/O Krishnan'. Few months ago, Gautham Menon announced a project 'Dhruva Nakshatram' with Suriya playing the lead. Even the actor show keen interest to work with the director but suggested a few changes in the script. But, no results were shown by Gautham Menon leading to drop off the project.
Just few hours ago, Suriya released a press note saying he walked out of 'Dhruva Nakshatram'. "I waited for 6 months without work less after completing 'Singam 2' for this project. Still, I couldn't get a proper script from Gautham. I have a responsibility towards my fans and always chooses scripts keeping them in mind. I can't wait anymore," commented the star.
Suriya also mentioned this isn't the first Gautham Menon has wasted his call sheets, making it clear that the relationship between them has strained. He might begin the shoot of director Lingusamy's film very soon.
