Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to visit Chattisgarh in a couple of days to meet CM Raman Singh to look into the possibility of purchasing power from that state.
KCR kept the Energy Portfolio with himself as he is well aware of crisis after the bifurcation. He is now on a mission to make Telangana a power-surplus state with the next 3 years.
To overcome the present power crisis, KCR meets Chattisgarh CM soon and makes attempts to buy 4,000 MW of power from the neighboring state. He is also looking forward to maintain cordial relations with other states Jharkhand and Odisha for purchasing power.
KCR alleges the present power crisis is because of two reasons - Hurdles created by APGENCO and Drought. He instructed the officials to prepare short term and long term plans to overcome the crisis.
