Anil Kapoor throws bash for Raanjhanaa success

Confirming the news, a source said: "It is the proud daddy of the actress Sonam Kapoor who feels it is time for the entire team to celebrate."
"He is so happy with the grand opening that the film has made that he threw an impromptu party at his residence on Saturday and Sunday night for the entire team," the source added.
Anil has been receiving several calls congratulating him for Sonam's performance in the film. Her character goes through a transformation in the second half of the movie, and she has been praised for carrying the complex role with ease.
"Anil loved 'Raanjhanaa' himself. He was impressed by Sonam's growth as an actor. He is indeed a proud daddy," the source added.
Directed by Anand L. Rai, "Raanjhanaa" has marked southern star Dhanush's foray into Bollywood. The movie released June 21.
