Anjali bagged role in Power star movie!!

Anjali who mesmerized all with her amazing performance in multistarrer blockbuster film Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu featuring Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh may not be having many offers in Telugu but the homely beauty managed to bag prestigious role in Kannada movie and he opted to play lead role alongside power star Puneeth Rajkumar.

Kannada top league director Pavan Wadeyar (Potugadu fame ) will direct the movie. Pavan confirms, "Yes, Anjali has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. I've seen some of her work and was very impressed with her acting. I tried reaching her through one of my friends. She heard the script and liked it very much. She will be joining the shoot from June."

Anjali debut film in Kannada was ‘’Honganasu’’ seven years ago. She breaks the seven-year hiatus with ‘’Dhera Ranavikrama’’. Honganasu largely went unnoticed and even the makers of the Puneeth film were not aware of her debut film.

Meanwhile, Anjali is working for a Telugu film ‘Geethanjali’ written and co-produced by Kona Venkat.
