ANR Award for Megastar

ANR National Award for the year 2013 goes to none other than Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Notably, Big B played a cameo in 'Manam' as a mark of respect to Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Nagarjuna: "ANR is someone who lived cinema, loved cinema and celebrated cinema. US Postal Service has released a stamp in memory of ANR. Earlier, Mahatma Gandhi, Swamy Vivekananda, Pandit Ravishankar and Mother Theresa received this honour. ANR was the only India Actor to achieve this rare feat and I will to write few letter using his stamp when I go to US next time. He is the only actor in the history to act till his last breadth."
Earlier, Eminent film personalities like Dev Anand, Shabana Azmi, Anjali Devi, Sridevi, Hema Malini, Syam Benegal and K Balachander has been conferred with ANR National Award . ANR Award is intended to honour the deserving people who were known for their exceptional contribution to Cinema.
