Balakrishna declares Best Films & Dream Roles
X
Actor-turned-Politician Balakrishna listed out his best films, dream roles, plans to direction and the reason behind skipping off beat films.

Ask him to rate his career best films, Balayya quickly reacts - "Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Aditya 369, Bhairavadweepam, Bobbili Simham, Peddanayya, Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu, Sri Rama Rajyam and Legend".
Dream Roles: "I always wanted to play the roles of Gona Ganna Reddy and Chengiz Khan. Till now, My wish hasn't be fulfilled".

Any Direction Plans: "When I find suitable actress for the role of Draupadi and a good producer, I will be revive 'Narthanasala'. I will be playing four roles - Arjuna, Bruhannala, Krishna and Keechaka. All these roles have different dialogue modulations and body language. If I direct, it would be either mythological or fantasy flick as they give scope for creativity."

Aversion towards Off Beat films?: "I am the only actor of my generation to do social, folklore, historical and mythological movies. I am ready to do off beat films too. Where are the directors and producers for such movies? Even Dad has done off beat films like Pichi Pullaiah and Thodudongalu. Though they earned him critical acclaim, both films failed at box office. Then, he attempted films like 'Jayasimha' which were highly successful. As an actor, I am open to do off beat films but such things weren't materializing because of finance matters. Moreover, I feel audience don't like to watch me in such films".
