Bhakta Kannappa: Sunil walks out, MV steps in!

Barely one-and-a-half year ago, A project titled as 'Bhakta Kannappa' in the combination of Sunil and Tanikella Bharani who made his directorial debut with critically acclaimed 'Mithunam' was announced. For some reason, The Comedian-turned-Hero walked out of the project.
At last, Tanikella was able to find a replacement for Sunil and his choice is really surprising. Manchu Vishnu signed the project to play the lead role. Another interesting aspect is that he himself would produce it on his home banner 24 Frames Factory. Although makers were planning the movie in All Indian Languages, We need to wait and see how the plan works out.
Earlier, Krishnam Raju has expressed his displeasure when Tanikella using the title 'Bhakta Kannappa' was brought to his notice. Will Mohan Babu intervene to obtain the title officially from the Rebel Star? Fingers Crossed!
