Center first day gift for Andhra Pradesh

Government of India has picked up two states including Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan as part of their prestigious 'pilot project'.Central Power Minister, Piyush Goel announced that Center had selected the residuary state for the pilot project which aims at providing 24 hours uninterrupted power to the state. He also announced this project as a gift for Andhra Pradesh from the Central government.
Earlier the project was implemented in 18,000 villages of Gujarat and gives the best results.In fact, In his recent whirlwind tour to Delhi Chandrababu Naidu had demanded Centre to compensate the 1500 MW of power AP had lost to Telangana due to the sharing of power on the basis of consumption.
Though Andhra Pradesh is producing higher amount of power, but it got only 43% of power utilization. In this regard, the announcement given by central minister is a boon for this new developing state.The center statement came as a morale booster for the TDP on the very first day in power.
