Cheating Case Against Lawrence

A cheating case has been filed against Choreographer-turned-Director Raghava Lawrence and his PA Rajkumar at Banjara Hills police station on Thursday.
Apparently, Lawrence and Producers (Bhagwan, Pulla Rao) entered into an agreement before the film was launched. As per the deal, Lawrence agreed to bear the production cost of 'Rebel' if it surpasses the estimated budget of Rs 23 crore. As 'Rebel' budget went up to Rs 28 crore, Producers have demanded Lawrence to pay Rs 5 crore to them as per the agreement. However, The filmmaker made it clear he willn't be paying a single penny.
As a result, 'Rebel' Producers approached court seeing justice. The court directed cops to file cheating case against Lawrence and his PA who acted as mediator. So, Banjara Hills cops booked both of them under section 406, 420 of Indian Penal Code. Search operation has been launched to arrest Lawrence at the earliest.
