Filmmaker Chimbudevan who is directing prestigious flick 'Puli' heaped praises on Sridevi who is playing the role of the princess in the period drama.
Chimbudevan reveals Sridevi used to spend 4-5 hours per day only for getting the make-up and costumes right for her role. She used to wear costumes weighing 10 to 15 kgs and never complained even if she was asked to shoot during hot Summer.
The Majestic Look of Sridevi is a pleasant surprise for film buffs who had seen the theatrical trailer of 'Puli'. Even though she appears in the promo for a mere 5 seconds, New Look and Costumes have only grabbed everyone's attention. It's the film Sridevi chose to act even though she was offered 'Baahubali' and hence people were curious to know how it worked.
'Puli' is the highest budget film in Vijay's career. Shruti Haasan and Hansika play female leads. Entire shooting has been wrapped up and release will be in September or October in this year depending on the post-production.
