Defeated Ponnala set to resign for PCC post

The aprty set to score 0 seats in residuary state.And Congress is not going to be the ruling party either in Telangana. This goes to show the chinks not just in Congress election management, but in its election team for Telangana.
Telangana PCC leader Ponna Lakshmaiah lost in elctions. Along with him some other bigwigs like Ponnam Prabhakar, Geetha Reddy, D Srinivas, DK Aruna, Vijaya Shanthi, Sreedhar Babu, Damodar Rajanarsimha are on losing end.
Ponnala is likely to tender his resignation for TPCC post Today evening. Telangana and Seemandhra headquarters of the Congress here wore a deserted look as the party faced a complete rout. Gandhi Bhavan, the headquarters of the Telangana unit of the Congress, was deserted.
The Congress had retained power in Andhra Pradesh in 2009, winning 157 seats in 294-member assembly. It also won 33 out of 42 Lok Sabha seats, which helped the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) to retain power at the centre.
