Director not keen on repeating Nayanthara-Venkatesh in Radha
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Dec 2013 12:41 PM GMTDirector Maruthi says he hasn't signed Nayanthara yet for "Radha" as he is keen to cast a fresh face with Daggubati Venkatesh in the romantic-drama.
"We haven't signed Nayanthara yet because we are looking for a fresh face. Nayan and Venky have already done two films together. Therefore, I'm not very keen on repeating them on screen," Maruthi told IANS.
"It's too early to shed more light on this because I'm yet to start casting," he added.
"Kotha Janta" is keeping Maruthi occupied right now.
He said that currently he is "busy wrapping up" the film, which will come out on Valentine's Day next year.
"Post-February 2014, I'll begin casting as well shooting for 'Radha'," he said.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara, who is enjoying the success of back-to-back releases "Raja Rani" and "Arrambam", is awaiting the release of "Anaamika", a southern remake of Vidya Balan-starrer hit Hindi thriller "Kahaani".
She also has an untitled Tamil project with Silambarasan aka Simbu in her kitty.
