Drushyam 1st Week Collections: Commendable!

'Drushyam', a new attempt in Telugu Cinema, managed to keep everyone associated with the film in a happy space. This family thriller made with a modest budget of Rs 8 crore (including Prints, Publicity & Promotions) has collected a Worldwide share of around Rs 9.5 crore in its 1st Week run at the Box Office.
Notably, Venkatesh didn't charge any remuneration for 'Drushyam' prior to the release and he choose. Instead, He choose to acquire the Satellite Rights of the movie. Strategically, Our Family hero waited till the theatrical release to sell the Satellite Rights as he is very confident of the Box Office outcome. As expected, 'Drushyam' received positive reviews and word of mouth is very positive. This helped Venky pocked an whooping Rs 5.5 crore as his remuneration.
As per trade, 'Drushyam' is performing well in A centers and decent in B & C centers. A lot depends on the 2nd Week revenues to decide the actual success range of this remake.
