Soon after the initiation of the bifurcation process, Vizag turned out to be the talk of the town with respect to the new capital city of the residue region. But now, the chances for Vizag to be the capital city of the newly formed state is quite less. Majority of the parties are aiming to develop a new region as the capital city.
But, Vizag is being considered as the film capital of Andhra Pradesh. As per the statistics, 90% of the film industry will shift its base to Vizag in the next 2 years span.
