Samantha treats Gautham Menon who launched her in a grand manner with 'Ye Maya Chesave' as her mentor and never ignores any opportunity that allows her to thank him.
In her recent interview, Samantha revealed that it was Gautham Menon who taught her not to do anything at times. "Actors were always told how to act before the camera. But, Rarely does anyone tells us how important it is sometimes to do nothing and yet appeal very natural. Luckily, I began my career with someone like Gautham who taught me to be comfortable even I wasn't offered a single in a lengthy scene," she shares.
Until now, Samantha and Gautham Menon teamed up for thrice (Ye Maya Chesave, Erra Gulabilu (Cameo) and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu). Sam received accolades and awards for her performance in Ye Maya Chesave and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu. Audience would only wish this deadly combo repeats again and again!
