Sreesanth on board Pooja Bhatt film Cabaret

The Kerala pacer S. Sreesanth who was prohibited from international cricket has found an alternative and from few days there were reports that he will foray into movies.

An official confirmation about Sreesanth film entry was announced.As per reports Sreesanth will make his Bollywood debut with upcoming film Cabaret, which will be produced by Pooja Bhatt.The film revolves around a Cabaret dancer, played by Richa Chadda, and Sreesanth will play her Malayali mentor.

Sreesanth reportedly plays role of Chetta and it will be based in Dubai in the film. Richa’s character and Chetta meets at an important point and their lives change.Speaking about roping Sresanth in the fim she felt that it will be an added advantage and Pooja mentioned that Sreesanth speaks Hindi with a Malayalam accent which will give authenticity to his character.

Reportedly the cricketer has accepted a signing amount of Rs 5 lakh. The film will be Co-produced by T-Series and directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi.It will also star Gulshan Devaiah in the lead role and it is slated to go on floor in January 2015
