Nandamuri family has opened hit account this year with Patas. The movie provided much needed break for Kalyan Ram. Newcomer Anil Ravipudi has handled a commercial subject quite maturely. It has all pleasing elements for fans as well as mass audience. Anil Ravipudi has shown the first film fury from start to end and it gave big success for him.The way he canned mass entertaining scenes indicate he would soon be a big films' director.
Anil Ravipudi is the son of an RTC driver. Though Anil has become a star in overnight , Anil father is still continuing his job as a bus driver and is due to retire soon. Anil started carer as dialogue writer and later turned as director after many attempts. Anil’s uncle, Arun Prasad, who directed Pawan Kalyan's 'Thammudu' and 'Goutham SSC' encouraged Anil Ravipudi to settle as a director.
