I am not sensual in real life says Mahie Gill
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Feb 2013 9:13 AM GMTActress Mahie Gill, whose characters have mostly had a sensuous connotation to them, says she is not as sensual in real life.
"I am not that sensuous in real life but when you get to do something that you are not, it is a bigger challenge. I am lucky I get such roles," the 37-year-old said here Thursday while promoting her film "Sahib, Biwi aur Gangster Returns" on the sets of reality show "Nautanki: The Comedy Theatre".
Mahie's filmography includes movies like "Dev D", "Gulaal", "Dabangg", "Not A Love Story", "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster" and "Paan Singh Tomar."
The actress had come with her co-star Jimmy Sheirgill and earlier in the day the two were also seen on the sets of TV serial "Hum Ne Li Hai ... Shapath".
Mahie says promotions are going to see a lot of effort from the cast.
"We will put in double the effort in promoting the film than we put in while shooting it," Mahie said.
Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, "Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" also features Irrfan and Soha Ali Khan and hits theatres March 8.
Meanwhile, Mahie is keen to dabble in genres she has not touched yet.
"I really want to try comedy. There are some genres I haven't tried - comedy, action and horror. I would really like to try them," said Mahie who made her debut with "Dev D" in 2009.
