Imran Khan sustains head injury after fall, out of danger

The Tehreek-e-Insaf chief along with a couple of others fell from a height of 14 to 20 ft after apparently seeming to lose his balance, reported Geo News.
He was taken to the Shaukat Khanum hospital for treatment, the report said, adding he seemed to have sustained an injury on the back of his head.
TV footage also showed a bleeding Imran Khan being carried by his associates in a semi-conscious state to a vehicle which then drove off to the hospital.
Tehree-e-Insaaf spokesman Ejaz Chaudhry said Imran Khan received injuries on his head but was out of danger, reported Xinhua.
Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso expressed his deep concern over the head injury to Imran Khan, the PM's office said.
The prime minister has wished him well and hoped for his early recovery, a statement said.
The news of Imran Khan's injuries sent a message of shock to his supporters across the country and many people rushed to the hospital.
Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and other leaders have prayed for Khan's early recovery.
Police sources said that preliminary investigation suggests that it was an accident but they are investigating.
