Kajal as prostitute in guise of Devdas

Glam doll Kajal Agarwal who had had a dull 2013 is slowly upping her ante. The actress who refused several offers on the pretext of poor remuneration has got some offers lined up for her in Bollywood. And that's not all she has realized how popular she is and is cashing in on that craze!
The latest news which is making rounds in media regarding Kajal is that she is playing Chandramukhi in an upcoming Bollywood movie 'Devdas'. While Richa Chadda is playing Paru, Rahul Bhatt is playing Devdas.
After a long search, director Sudhir Mishra has finally zeroed down on the Singham lady for the role.Actually this movie isn’t the remake of Sharath Chandra’s famous Bengali novel but a free adaptation of the novel to the modern times.
Previously it was informed that Aditi Rao Hydari will be playing the character of Chandramukhi and before that it was said that Chitrangada Singh will be playing the role, but both of them were facing date issues and therefore, opted out of the film.
In Sharath’s ‘Devdas’, Chandramukhi is a prostitute who has inclinations towards aesthetic sense and believes in pure love. That means Kajal Agarwal might most probably play the role of a modern day prostitute according to the sources.
The movie will start soon in Mumbai. Curretnly Kajal is busy with the shooting of Govindudu Andari Vaadele starring mega power star Ram Charan and directed by Krishna Vamshi.
