Karthi croons in Telugu

"Karthi has already crooned a song for the first time in his film 'Biriyani' under the music direction of Yuvan Shankar Raja. Now, he has crooned the same song in Telugu as well," said a statement.
Karthi is known for dubbing in his own voice in Telugu for all his Tamil films. The makers believe that his decision to sing in Telugu will impress his fans.
"We want the Telugu audience to experience Karthi's voice through this song. We are confident that audiences will enjoy the song," the statement read further.
In "Biriyani", Karthi crooned the song "Mississippi", which also features the voices of Premgi Amaren and Priya Himesh.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "Biriyani" is slated for release Jan 14, 2014. The movie also features Hansika Motwani and Santhanam.
