Legend 5 Weeks Collections: Disappointing!

Forget about Rs 50 crore, Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer 'Legend' couldn't even make it to the Rs 40 crore club. By the end of 5th week, The power-packed entertainer generated a Worldwide share of Rs 37.95 crore and this is also the full run share.
Of course, 'Legend' is the biggest grosser in the career of Balakrishna as it surpassed the full run share of his previous highest 'Simha' by a comfortable margin. Neverthless, It fell short of the break-even by few crores. Makers of 'Legend' have spent Rs 44 crore (including prints and publicity) on 'Legend'. On a whole, Its a big disappointment as the producers failed to recover the investment despite positive reviews and good word of mouth. Boyapati and 14 Reels have to take the blame for escalating the budget despite knowing the box office range of Balayya.
As per the trade, 'Legend' stands at 16th Position in All Time Tollywood Top 25 Highest Earners list.
