Longest Running Indian Film screened for Last Time!

About 210 people watched the last screening of 'DDLJ' at this famous theatre.
DDLJ holds the record of longest running film in the history of Indian Cinema. The tickets of this movie were sold at very nominal prices Rs 20, Rs 17 and Rs 15. Since the past 20 Years, Maratha Mandir runs a DDLJ show daily at 11:30 AM.
Manoj Desai, MD of Maratha Mandir, says it doesn't make any sense to run DDLJ any longer as it draws less than 200 audience per screening whereas the capacity is 1105 seats.
