By: Tupaki Desk | 22 March 2015 10:12 AM GMTMaestro Ilayaraja joined Facebook to bring cheer on the faces of his countless fans on the Social Media.
Ilayaraja conveyed his message through a video posted on his Facebook page: "Many of my fans are on social media. Recently, some false information regarding me has been spread online and to put an end to all such incidents, I have joined Facebook. This account is my official one and all information about my work will be updated here henceforth."
Few days ago, Ilayaraja won the Copy Rights case filed in the High Court and obtained an order prohibiting unauthorised use of his compositions for 1000-plus films. Neither any music company nor video sharing sites like Youtube could use any of his works without paying him the amount he demands.
