The decision of KCR to nominate Tennis Star Sania Mirza as Telangana Brand Ambassador earned criticism for all quarters and the nationality of Sania also comes under discussion.

After legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle, Salman Khan and several other Bollywood celebrities, Manchu Lakshmi from Tollywood industry too spoke up for Sania Mirza.

Lashing out at the critics of Sania, Manchu posted "Enough is enough.1st of all we don't give due credit to our sports people & finally when someone is getting some we throw her under the bus. Sania Mirza is TOTALLY deserving of her role as the Brand Ambassador of Telangana. She has brought tennis to light by dedicating her life to it and by playing for india. All the haters pls give urself a break. She will only rise higher. My support to Sania Mirza fulllly. Rock on sister !!.
