By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Jun 2015 5:44 AM GMTMuseum of the Moving Image will showcase three of the acclaimed films of director giant Mani Ratnam including Roja, Bombay and Dil Se to honour him with a special tribute.
Located in New York, this museum will take up the ceremony from July 31 to August 2. Museum officials have described Mani Ratnam as the rarest of film directors who is capable of making exquisitely crafted, hugely entertaining, yet intelligent and provocative films on socio-political issues.
This very same New York museum has earlier honoured Oscar-winning Indian composer AR Rahman earlier this year. They have premiered his documentary Jai Ho to a packed crowd at the premises of museum.
