Modi swearing-in ceremony is like Filmfare event: Director

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma opined the lavish swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi is nothing short of an IIFA or Filmfare event. "The swearing in ceremony pretty much looks like an IIFA/Filmfare event...film stars replaced by political stars," he quotes.

Ramu dared to say it's a joke to make their oath taking such a big ceremony as everyone knew politicians lie like anything and the only time a politician tells the truth is when he calls the other politician a liar. He also commented, "I really wonder what Sonia and Rahul thought of the ceremony".

On a funny note, RGV claimed he is very happy for the Indian fishermen who were released by Pakistan and Srilankan government but feels sad for the fishes who now are going to be killed by them.
