Modi to watch National Award Winning Film

Critically acclaimed Tamil flick 'Saivam' won two National Awards this year. While one of them for lyrics penned by Na Muthuumar, Uthara Unnikrishnan bagged the other in the category of Best Female Singer.
Union Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi who is an active animal rights activist loved the film immensely and recommended it for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's viewing.
Director Vijay (Nanna fame) thanked Amala Akkineni for recommending 'Saivam' to Maneka Gandhi. He feels because of her his film has gone to the next level.
'Saivam' is being now remade in Telugu as 'Dagudumoota Dandakore' with Rajendra Prasad. Child Artist Sara Arjun (Nanna fame) who played a key role in the original will once again act for the same role in the Telugu version.
