My Next Film Might Be With HIM: Shankar

Not many knew, 'I' was slated to release for last year 'Diwali'. Due to financial issues, Shooting has been stalled for few months. During this break, Shankar completed the script work of 3 films and he might pick one among them as his next.

When asked about 'Robo 2', Shankar reveals he is very much keen to make the sequel with Rajinikanth. He says his next movie might be with Superstar and also expresses the feeling this project mayn't happen at all if things didn't fall in place.

Shankar revealed he writes scripts keeping heroes in mind and also chooses heroes based on scripts. In fact, Kamal Haasan was the first choice for 'Oke Okkadu' but the combo didn't materialize as the legendary actor was busy with 'Hey Ram' at that point of time. By the time he narrated the storyline of the film to Kamal, Shankar already completed the shoot of 'Oke Okkadu' with Arjun. Even Rajinkanth was also considered to play the lead in this movie but some how it didn't work.
