Content comes before anything else for actor Prabhas Raju, says debutant Telugu director Koratala Siva, who is awaiting the release of his action-drama "Mirchi".

"He agreed to work with me because he was extremely satisfied with my story. If he doesn't believe in the content, then why would he agree to work with a debutant of all directors? He even pushed dates for his next film to begin working on my film," Siva told IANS.

"He may be a star actor, but he is very particular about the story he chooses for his films," he added.

"Mirchi" features Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead. It releases Friday.

"It is an out-and-out action entertainer and akin to the title, is the character essayed by Prabhas in the film. Action sequences will definitely stand out," said Siva.

He considers working with Prabhas truly a blessing.

"Not all debutant directors get to work with an established actor in their first film, but I am blessed to have joined hands with Prabhas," he said.

The film is produced by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the film, which has cinematography by Madhi.

The makers are extensively promoting the film in Andhra Pradesh to attract a large opening.

"Besides regular promotion in print and broadcast media, we are using auto rickshaws in and around Hyderabad to promote our film. Approximately, one lakh stickers of the film have been stuck on autos plying in the city," Siva added.
