Ragini Nandwani bags cameo in Marathi film

The actress is also helping with the film's script, according to a source from the production house.
Even though it is a cameo, her role is believed to be important for the film. Director, Bhakti Khoche, too is happy with the actress and her work.
"For most people, it's about making money and entertaining the masses. But, for some it's about knowledge, experience and hard work. Ragini comes in the latter one. The environment that she creates on the sets is remarkable. She keeps everyone including me, on our feet 24x7,” Khoche said in a press statement.
The actress has also been a part of Tamil romantic thriller “Thalaivaa”.

Sona Mohapatra imparts history lessons
Singer Sona Mohapatra likes to keep her fans posted not just about her music, but also about places that she travels to.
She was set to perform in Surat, Gujarat Friday, but before that the singer shared some important facts about the city via Twitter.
"Called Suryapur in the past, this city in Gujarat finds a mention in the Mahabharat - and has some serious history," Mohapatra, who has sung songs like "Bedardi raja", "Jiya lage na" and "Ambarsariya", posted Friday.
"Diamond city (80 percent of India's polishing takes place here). Textile city and the infamous plague in the 1990s and subsequent transformation," she added.
Mohapatra admits "my favourite subject in school was history".
"Still is. Strange middle class pressures to then go for a B.Tech and MBA as degrees," tweeted the singer, who is a graduate in engineering.
