SHE replaces Kajal in Hindi Magadheera

'Magadheera' remains as a milestone in Telugu cinema forever. It was one film which showed the actual stamina of Telugu films and earned a lot of respect from Bollywood folks. Ever since this magnum opus got National recognition, A lot of leading Bollywood heroes and heroines have showed interest on the remake. However, None of them dared to sign the film as recreating the magic of a celluloid wonder is a herculean task.
5 Years after the release of 'Magadheera', There is some clarity on who will be playing the lead in the Hindi remake. While Shahid Kapoor gets into the shoes of Kala Bhairava played by Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt reprises Mitravinda done by Kajal in the original.
Initially, Producers considered Kajal Agarwal for female lead. However, they feared such a movie would effect the freshness factor and preferred Alia Bhatt who is the latest sensation in Bollywood circuit. Alia is a blend of beauty and acting prowess. Films like Highway, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania proved her calibre as a performer and crowd puller.
