'Shiva' rerelease with 5 crores investment

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s ‘Shiva’ is one of the trend setter movies in Tollywood. 'Shiva' was released on October 5, 1989 and the film went on to become a cult classic in the history of Telugu Cinema. Shiva established Nag as the perfect youth and mass hero during the early 90s.
The film recently completed 25 years and makers of the film had announced about the film’s rerelease then. Now, the moment has arrived and as per reports the film would be hitting the screens on May 15.
Makers have digitally restored the film and planning to release. The film is reportedly having a big release just like any other movie. 'Shiva' was the debut movie of Ram Gopal Varma and many directors like Krishna Vamsi, Siva Nageswara Rao and Teja have worked for that film as assistant directors.
As per reports makers have reportedly spent 4-5 crs on the film. If makers re-release the film, definitely for a week there will be superb run. Well if you are a Shiva fan, then keep watching this space for further updates.
