Shruti Haasan wins Most Popular South Celeb Award

Shruti Haasan won the Most Popular South Celeb Award beating Mahesh Babu, Dhanush in an online poll conducted by Bollywoodlife portal. Shruti Haasan stood first and won Most Popular South Celeb on Twitter. She won the award with 45% of the votes. Much to the surprise of everyone, Sruthi thanked her fans in Telugu.

Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are Bollywood's social media king and queen respectively, while Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha are selfie king and queen.

The award felicitated celebrities who not only have a strong presence on social media but also boast a huge fan base. The website received over 13 lakh votes for 16 categories. The voters were from India, UK and US.
