Telugu TV Actress Harjit Kaur aka Rupa attempted suicide by jumping into Hussain Sagar. Luckily, She was rescued by the Lake Police and got to know love failure is the reason behind her extreme step.
The 28-Year-Old has been in a live-in relationship with her relative Keval Singh, a Private Bank employee, for sometime now. At one stage, Mr. Singh pressurized her to quit acting career. When Rupa discussed about the marriage plans, He refused to tie the knot citing his family's opposition their alliance. As a result, Rupa decided to commit suicide.
Lake Inspector Sridevi offered counselling to Rupa and Her Brother. The case has been transferred to Basheer Bagh Police Station for taking legal action against Keval Singh.
Rupa has been in the TV field for the past 5 Years. She acted in serials like Chandramukhi, Auto Bharati, Shikaram and Antahpuram.
