Its known that a tiger named Vijay killed a student, who accidentally fell into its enclosure at the National Zoological Park in New Delhi. The video-footage of the incident created sensation and some people who witnessed the incident, want the tiger to be killed.
This demand caused the worries for animal rights activists and they condemned the demand.Trisha who is known to be associated with several animal welfare organizations due to her love for animals has requested to the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee to interfere into this matter and save the tiger.
In an appeal to the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, Trisha has tweeted."Please do not allow the sacrifice of the tiger of New Delhi Zoo,he did not attack, he was only defending himself."
While no one from the film industry has come forward to support tiger Vijay, wethinks it is endearing that animal lover Trisha is vouching for the 7-year-old white tiger in the Delhi Zoo.
