We are aware of actor-cum-producer Tyagarajan acquiring the remake rights of Bollywood film Queen for all the Southern languages. Ever since then, Rumors of Trisha playing the lead in this heroine-centric flick have been in circulation.
Producer Tyagarajan held a press meet in Hyderabad to clear the air. "We are considering Trisha to play the lead actress, but nothing has been confirmed as of now. Currently, We are busy scouting locations for shooting. Once, We finalize the cast and crew an official announcement to be made," he clarifies.
So, Trisha may or mayn't be female lead of Queen South remake. The other top contenders for the role are Anushka, Samantha and Nayantara.
