By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Feb 2014 4:57 AM GMT“Legend” is the flick which is coming under Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s combination. With “Simha”, this combination banged the box office few year back. Now, this combination is all set to roar at the box office. In spite of this specialty, MAA TV gave the satellite rights to Gemini TV.
As per the reports, Gemini TV bagged “Legend” satellite rights for a sum of 8.5 Crores. Generally, MAA TV bids high for top rated flicks. It bagged low budgeted flick “Uyyala Jampala” for a sum of 1.5 Crores which his literally double its production cost. In spite of having this record, “Why did MAA TV gave the satellite rights of ‘Legend’ to Gemini TV?” turned out to be a hot topic.
Few analysts are saying that MAA TV might have felt that the 8.5 Crores package is quite high for a film like “Legend”. In one sense, it is degrading the level of this flick. In other sense, Gemini TV bagged the right for a hefty sum of 8.5 Crores and took Balakrishna to the level of Mahesh and Pawan.
