Anu Emmanuel has made a significant name for herself in the Telugu film industry as well as in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Anu Emmanuel earned a Producers Guild Film Award for her excellent contributions to the industry.

She began her acting career as a child artist in the Malayalam film "Swapna Sanchari." Her official film debut came with the Malayalam movie "Action Hero Biju." Most recently, Anu was seen in the 2023 Indian Tamil-language heist action comedy film "Japan," directed by Raju Murugan and produced by S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures. The movie also stars Karthi, Sunil, Vijay Milton, and Jithan Ramesh and has been well-received for its gripping narrative and comedy elements.
