Her career began with her debut in the Bollywood film Rok Sako To Rok Lo in 2004. However, her significant breakthrough was in the film Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na in 2008. This role earned her the Stardust Award for Breakthrough Performance - Female.

Manjari has since worked in several notable films. She was part of the National Award-winning Bengali film Faltu in 2006.
