In 2024, Mrunal Thakur portrayed an entrepreneur named Indu in her third Telugu film, "The Family Star," opposite Vijay Deverakonda. However, this film didn’t receive favorable reviews and failed at the box office. She is set to appear next in Maddock Films' "Pooja Meri Jaan" alongside Huma Qureshi.
