After the much-awaited special commemorative coin launch, both Nara and Nandamuri families had the privilege to pose with the President.

Marking the centenary birth anniversary of veteran film personality, former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, a special Rs 100 coin was unveiled today in a bid to honour him.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital Delhi became the venue of the pride moment and the First Citizen of India, President Draupadi Murmu did the honours and unveiled the special coin. Addressing the gathering, the President remembered the TDP founder while shedding light on his role in enriching Indian cinema and culture through films.
After the much-awaited special commemorative coin launch, both Nara and Nandamuri families had the privilege to pose with the President. Members of both sides came together for the picture.
The second and third generations of the Nandamuri family and the Nara family were present in the picture. NTR’s sons, daughters, Son-in-law Chandrababu Naidu, and grandchildren were clicked together.
While it was a treat to watch the families together, two heroes Jr NTR and Kalyan missed the chance. They could not attend the occasion due to various reasons.
As the coin was launched marking the centenary birth anniversary of the legendary personality, the coin has a mention of the same in both English and Hindi. The Centenary years were also written on it along with his iconic portrait. The special coin was made up of different metals. It is made of 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel and 5% zinc.
