Most recently, Sameera was seen in Varadhanayaka, a 2013 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by Ayyappa P. Sharma. This movie marks her debut in Kannada cinema, and it is a remake of the Telugu film Lakshyam (2007). In Varadhanayaka, she stars alongside well-known actors like Sudeepa and Chiranjeevi Sarja. Arjun Janya composed the music for this film, which was produced under the Shankar Productions banner.
