Shalini Pandey shot to stardom with her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Arjun Reddy. Starring alongside Vijay Deverakonda she captivated audiences with her talent and won their hearts. Her portrayal of Preethi Shetty was a turning point that firmly established her as a prominent actress in the industry. Beyond her acting talents, Shalini is also known for her keen fashion sense which she frequently showcases on Instagram, leaving fans in awe with her stylish photoshoots.

The film is based on the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862 and adapts Saurabh Shah's novel on the subject.
