This performance earned her significant acclaim and several awards, including the Producers Guild Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series.
In 2016, she showcased her versatility by participating in the reality show "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7," where she ended her journey in the 12th position. Between 2017 and 2018, Datta portrayed Dhamini in the mythology drama "Karmaphal Daata Shani." Following this, from 2018 to 2019, she took on dual roles in &TV's paranormal romance drama series "Daayan," playing Jhanvi Mourya and Kundani Roy.
Datta continued to diversify her roles, and in 2020 she was featured in ZEE5's crime thriller web series "Naxalbari," playing Ketki Maheshwari alongside Rajeev Khandelwal. Her portrayal in the series won her the Global Fame Award for Best OTT Debut. She also made her music video debut in 2021 by starring in Mika Singh's Bengali song "Durga Maa Elo Re."
From 2022 to 2023, Datta participated in the popular reality show "Bigg Boss 16" on Colors TV. She spent 119 days in the house and finished in the eighth position. Notably, she was the second highest paid contestant of the season. In 2023, she played Surili Ahuja Banerjee in Sony TV's "Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum."
