Narendra Modi led NDA Government completed 100 days in Office. Here are the Top 8 Decisions of the newly formed central government…
1) Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana: The mission is to open 75 million bank accounts (2 per Household) by January 26th 2015.
2) Replacement of Planning Commission: Planning Commission, a 64-year old institution, will be replaced with brand new institution which consists of completely new structure and soul.
3) $35 Billion investment from Japan: Japanese Government assured assistance to India for bullet trains, smart cities, world class infrastructure and cleaning of Ganga river.
4) Decision to call off Foreign-secretary level talks with Pak: Pakistan's decision to hold talks with Kashmiri separatists didn't go down well with India. Hence, NDA Government called off foreign-secretary level talks with the rival country.
5) SIT on Black Money: Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to bring the Black Money to India.
6) 49% FDI in Insurance: Foreign Direct Investment limit in the Insurance sector has been eased from 26% to 49%.
7) Judge's Appointment Bill: The National Judicial Appointments Commission Bill has been passed in Parliament. From now. Government will the decision maker when it comes to appointment of Supreme Court and High Court judges.
8) Lowering the age of Juveniles: Approval of Juvenile Justice Bill 2014 by Modi Cabinet. From now, Minors older than 16 years will be treated as adults if they are charged with serious crimes like rape.
