24 IPS officers are transfered

Today AP government has sent out the transfer letters to 24 IPS officers. After the AP government formation this is the first time a major swap of officers has been taken. Government has disclosed the details of posting for all the IPS officers and its told that transfers are taken place simplify the development and security improvement. There are many officers who are in support to local YSRCP in Kadapa and Kurnool who are against the local TDP leaders. Due to this reason few of the transfers are applied.
The posting and locations of the new assignments are sent out to the officers along with transfer letters.
The officers will report to the new assignments by end of next week. Apart from this Finance minister Yanamala has announced that set up of new check posts between AP and Telangana in selected location to restrict the unauthorized commercial transport of goods
